Well, we're bounding forward into year 6 of Jambands.com. As we do so we intend to add some intriguing new site features along the way. For starters we're going to introduce some new elements into our Daily News section that will transform it into a more expansive, useful resource. In addition, during the months ahead, we're going to make it even easier for you to look back on all the features and reviews that we've run over the past 60+ months and we will provide you with an opportunity to offer your own views as well. There are additional plans in motion as well, so hang on...

Of course even as we increase the scope of coverage our monthly content will remain invigorating, enlightening and, of course, entertaining (and we even intend to step it up a bit as well). This month is no exception, as our features include interviews with Warren Haynes, George McConnell, Rich Vogel and Jamie Shields. Meanwhile Andy Tennille continues his "Used With" series, rooting through the stacks with Drive By Truckers' Jason Isbell. Plus Jeff Waful has an interesting conversation with Danny Clinch about the inner workings of 270 Miles to Graceland, the Bonnaroo DVD. Our columns, departments and CD reviews are also up to their usual standards and Chris Jonat's "Musician Book Thyself" piece should prove instructive.

As for next month, we might just have a bit more info on the Jammys. Heck, perhaps I'll even hawk my latest book as well...

Later days and peace,
Dean
