The Tao of Wu
Shifting the Weight Around
by Jason Fladager - phlaash@aol.com - The Big WuHey Everybody....
I'm writing this edition from the farmhouse of Foxtrot Zulu. We are stopped in Providence on our third tour of the summer and they were kind enough to set us up with sleeping arrangements and good company. What a phat setup this band has for sure....
This tour has a couple great stops that hopefully ya all can swing out to. One show that I hope folks can make is two sets UPSTAIRS at the Wetlands NYC on Thursday August 19th. If you want free tickets...go to http://www.wetlands-preserve.org and check their schedule.
OK enough of the shameless promotion....
Seems as though I've been staring at the road for a long time. This summer is getting on and its been an adventure to say the least. More like a long vacation. Being from Minnesota, I haven't been many places so it's great seeing the country like this and meeting so many good folks. I had no idea so many people were into the music.
Life is good. Wish I had more to say but sometimes you just can't think of anything (which is fine right?). The ol' noggin isn't always firing at full strength. Time to juice up....
Hope to see some folks out at the Wetlands next Thursday and at Berkfest. Take care....I'll write more next month when I'm home and can use this thing on my neck better.
Jason
