From The Editor

Yup, it's me again. Still here. Summer's almost over but it's not too late to get out there and enjoy some quality outdoor music- the Allman Brothers Band, Summer Session, Camp Bisco, The Recipe Family Cookout and the Wormtown Festival all come to mind and there are plenty more I know. I'm actually a big fan of August>October in ol' New England, when it cools down at night and you can saunter outside to revel in the evening. Plus, it's just about time for the Red Sox to break my heart, an annual event celebrated by friends and family alike.

Blah blah blah enough about me, let's talk about the site. The action is picking up here and there is plenty more to come. You can see that we added some new features this month- I'm especially excited about "Call and Response," although I think that "Riffs" will open some people's eyes to new sounds as well (and I am looking forward to hearing your "Feedback"). Beyond that we have some big things planned for the days to come, I promise. I think we're going to have enough going on here to inspire you to come back every few days to check out development and happenings. In fact, why don't you do that, stop by in a few days and I promise you that you see something new. Before then, kick back and read our new issue- plenty of news and reviews to muse...

Don't forget Mikey, btw. Crappy as ever (actually just as crappy as last month, if you happened to check it out then but that story is down there). Did I mention that my daughter is a beautiful and brainy six month old? Don't get me started. Go read...

later days and peace,
Dean
