Well, some of the changes I’ve been squawking about for a few months are finally underway. First and foremost we have a new layout in place. I hope you’ll find it easier to navigate and that our pages load quicker- that’s our intention. If you have any comments or suggestions about the redesign please send me an email- email@example.com
In addition, our new Show Reviews section is in place (I think I first yapped about this two month ago). The intent there is to allow the reviews to be much more immediate rather than having you wait until four or five weeks after a gig takes place to read about it. BTW, if this encourages you to write one for us, please send along a review to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What else is new? Well the Jammys loom and we’re all busting our asses working on this year’s event. If you haven’t voted yet- do so right now- http://www.jambands.com/jammys01/ If you’ve voted already, cool, I hope to see you there. We’ve already announced that Derek Trucks Band will be the house band but in the days to come we’ll be revealing the full line-up. We have more than 20 bands and individual artists confirmed and I can promise you it will be a night well-worth attending (and get your tickets soon, like last year this one will sell-out).
Beyond that we have a cool new promotion we’ve worked out with Relix. Starting today the first 100 people who subscribe to Relix from Jambands.com will win some pretty cool free prizes (tickets aplenty, discs and swag). It’s well worth it- http://jambands.com/RelSub.phtml.
Fortunately, there will still be time to make it out to shows- including the Tap at Carnegie hall on June 4 :)
later days and peace,
