Well I feel I shouldn’t let the month pass without reporting on the paperback edition of Ticket Masters, the book I wrote with Relix editor Josh Baron.

Oh speaking of Josh, why not check out this video of him in Times Square appearing on the Rock Book Show…

He did a fine job, although perhaps he could have gussied himself up a bit, no? Well I suppose that’s besides the point.

This new, expanded edition builds on the one that came out last summer. It “carries the story ahead to the present, with additional exploration of the secondary market, dynamic pricing, paperless ticketing (and ongoing battle between the Fan Freedom Project and the Fans First Coalition), the efforts of independent promoters and emerging ticketing companies as well as the latest strategies employed by Ticketmaster and Live Nation Entertainment.”

So particularly if you never picked up the hardcover, why not grab yourself a copy of the paperback?

More on the book can be found at our blog.

Next month, I likely will talk Bonnaroo Beacon prep and more…

Later days and peace,
Dean
