for new ideas and stories. Please contact the individual editors
of the section you wish to contribute.

DEADLINE:
Ahh yes, this is important. The monthly deadline for submissions
will be on the fifth day of each month. Since we publish
the magazine on the fifthteenth of every month, this deadline is
extremely important.
Here
are the various sections to which you can contribute and the names
of the individual editors. Please mail them with your ideas and
submissions. Of course if you have any other questions, please contact

FEATURE
ARTICLES (Editor: Dean Budnick)
Four to six feature articles will run each issue. These articles
will include interviews, extended essays on individual bands and
thought pieces that may not fit anywhere else...e-mail Dean with
ideas and suggestions.
NEW
GROOVE OF THE MONTH (Editor: Dean
Budnick) One profile a month on a band not everyone knows...
yet. Please contact us if you would like to write one of these monthly
profiles.
ROADTRIP
OF THE MONTH (Editor: Rob
Turner) An account of the places you visited, the music you
saw and the disasters/epiphanies that occurred along the way.
TOUR
JOURNAL REVISITED (Editor: Michael
Morrow) Similar to roadtrip of the month but with a historical
angle- something that took place many months or years ago. Dig deep
and share!
VENUE
OF THE MONTH (Editor: David
Saslavsky) Each month will take an in-depth look at a notable
music venue.
SETTING
LEVELS (Edited: Paul Pro Pearson)
A look at taping and trading live shows.
GHOSTS
OF JAM BANDS PAST (Editor: Sister
Mary Carmen) A historical/biographical piece on a group that
is no longer actively performing.
HOMEGROWN
HAPPENINGS (Editor: Marcie
Vogel) This section will detail info on bands and events within
the Homegrown Music Network.
INAUDIBLE
HISS (Editor: Dean Budnick)
Humor on bands, the scene, etc.

REVIEWS (Editor: Jesse Jarnow)
Feel free to contact Jesse about an idea you have, float him a review
that you have written or supply him with your band's latest effort.

show reviews as well as other pertinent info on band happenings.
