Your faithful editor here. One thing we've tried to do at the site is
increase the number of images we present. To this end, yesterday morning
I went out and purchased a digital camera. I know I should have done it
long ago- just think of the additional shots we could have had from the
Jammys or the Jambands.com tour or summer festivals or any number of
shows. At any rate I intend to rectify this starting now, as I will be
offering you 2-3 short photo essays every month. I don't to have the
gifts of our resident guru, Mike Mac but I do attend the meetings, so
we'll see how it goes.
What follows are a few shots from last night's One For Woody show. They
were all taken from my vantage point on the front of the balcony, next to
Jambands.com stalwarts David Saslavsky ("Dude, Kodak moment") and Jeff
Waful. Are they amazing? No no no. Do they give you a taste of what went
on- absolutely. Mike mac was also there and he will have a much better
photo spread I can assure you, with plenty of close-ups and the like. For
now, however, I hope you enjoy this appetizer/glimpse of what really was
a majestic, mesmerizing evening.
Oh yes, please remember I just bought the darn camera yesterday-
hopefully we'll see some improvement down the road...
