Widespread Panic in Tennessee

Widespread Panic at Mid South Coliseum Memphis, Tennessee
November 24th and November 25th 2000
North Mississippi All Stars Opened

A Post Thanksgiving Party

Widespread Panic is at the top of their game right now. I am happy to say that I have seen a lot of what has unfolded in the past year and can't wait to see what they bring with more tours, a new record label and album, and of course more and more fans.

This fall was one of the best runs of Panic yet. With a new sound crew sharpening the way the Boys sounded all tour it was hard to sit in New York City while the Boys were out playing all over the country. So I didn't sit home much. I made it to about a dozen shows, which included Charlotte, San Francisco, New Orleans, Ames, St. Paul, Madison, and Memphis. Anticipation was high for these shows in Memphis and while they weren't the best of what I saw this fall, I still had a great time. Also some new found Tennessee friends from summer tour made my Memphis experience even better.

I was lucky enough to be granted with a photo pass for both nights and was a little too excited when the Boys came out and started to throw down right in front of my nose. Here are a couple of shots of some of the Boys, The North Mississippi All Stars, and Danny and Eric from Bloodkin at the Honest Tune pre-party on 11/25.

Hopefully I will be adding some more pictures. See you on the road.
