{Editor’s note: When we announced that we were going to add a Fan Site of the Month section to the site we received hundreds of emails making suggestions. A good portion of these suggested walfredo.com, which was surprising in part because many of us hadn’t heard of walfredo.com, a web site devoted to Phish, SF and more. Here are some thoughts from the site’s founder, Adam Berger…}
Walfredo.com was born shortly after seeing Phish at the Thomas and Mack last fall,
2000 (‘Walfredo’ was the opening song Saturday night – Trey’s birthday show, where band members switch instruments). The
song displayed many qualities of the band: versatility, humor, light-heartedness,
and fun. These qualities are what Walfredo.com shoots for – featuring photos of SF/Bay
Area shows my friends and I attend, news, reviews, and other things to discover.

Thanks to Jambands.com for promoting live music and featuring Walfredo, to our local SF crew (Boboso, Molly, Leeor, Alan, Jeff LesClay420, Leighton, Tony, and others), to everyone that visits Walfredo, and to all the security guards that turn their heads as I bring my camera into the show!

Cheers!
Adam
