This has been quite a crazy month at the site. We certainly set a record for incoming mail, with an influx resulting from the Deep Banana contest, the newsletter giveaways, and reactions to the monthly features (in particular the Phish essay, which is why we are running two separate responses this month). Speaking of the newsletter- if you haven't signed up yet, I recommend it. We now send it out every Saturday to fill you in on some of what you've missed at the site over the previous seven days, while giving out free stuff and offering an additional tidbit or two (like the site itself, it's only going to get better).

Beyond that, the big news this month is that we finally have a start date for our radio station. Cross your digits but it looks like it will be up and running on March 1. The people at SonicNet have been real cool and supportive, and I think you'll like what you hear. Of course this is just the beginning of what we hope to offer your ears.

What else? Well some of you have emailed and asked about Kind Media, which is listed on our masthead and in the newsletters as our publisher. Kind Media is a company that is dedicated to socially conscious, healthy living, with a healthy dose of music as well. I look forward to watching Kind develop but I do know that the Kind folk will be offering us all free kind.com email in the days to come. When I learn more I promise to yap in this space and in the newsletter.
