Yes, I Suck This Month, I Know...
Sister Mary Carmen is taking a break this month. Actually I have no
choice in the matter. The truth is that I have spent most of this month
making mid-week trips back and forth to New York from Pennsylvania
visiting all my doctors in an attempt to get my meds regulated a bit
better. For all of you out there that care, don't fret, I am feeling
much better. Add to this the fact that these last two weeks have been
severe crunch time at Drexel (the quarter system is so wonderful), I have
had no time to revise and edit the piece I wanted to post. I have spent
much of my time writing the three ten page research papers, the crazy
long C program, and finishing a large group project that are all due on
or around March 15th. It is really unlike me to slack off like this, but
my first priority is my school work, and I need to take care of that
first. I am sure most of you out there can understand. But don't freak
out, I have a week long break in between terms coming up on March 17th.
I plan on finishing that piece I have been promising for two months.
On a lighter note, I received a lot of e-mail responses to my column last
month. I just wanted to openly thank all of you who found the time to
drop me a line. It made me feel A LOT better about certain things in my
life. Keep the e-mail coming, I will answer all who write. I enjoy
reading what other people think about the state of music, life, and the
world in general.
