Hope Clayburn - "Happy, Everywhere" CD - Baaba Seth saxophonist Hope Clayburn reaches out with a CD full of uplifting music and positive vibes. She plays nearly every instrument on this CD with the exception of a few guest performances. Bass-heavy grooves surge underneath soulful vocals and exotic rhythms to create a unique, danceable, joyous atmosphere. $12.00

Fat Mama - "Live" CD - The spacious, innovative grooves that permeate this Rhode Island band's live show are now available on this brand-new CD. Its "drunk monkey funk" at it's most fierce and expansive, with 6 tracks clocking in at just under an hour. Features favorites like "Gefilteluv" and "Yid Panther". $12.00

Chief's Tale - "Amorphous Mass" CD - Joyous, energetic groove-rock! Soulful vocals and rocking, funked-out music make listening to this disc an uplifting experience. Throw this one in at your next gathering and watch the room light up with energy. $12.00

Burt Neilson Band - self-titled and "Orange Shag Carpet" CDs - Canada's favorite horn-driven funksters now have CDs available through Home Grown! The highly danceable, melodic grooves, engrossing vocals, and remarkable musicianship found on these discs are sure to become a regular part of everyone's listening habits. $12.00

Moe. - "L" 2CD set - Finally! This band's live shows have long been some of the most revered and entertaining in the nation, and now they have released their first live collection. After 4 studio albums, they capture at last the musicianship, improvisation, and playfulness that typify a moe. concert. The two-disc set features classics like "Meat", "Buster", and the previously unreleased concert favorite "Seat of my Pants" as well as newer material like "Captain America" and "Can't Seem to Find". $19.00

El Buho - "The Wham Bam Boodle 2000" CD - This project, visualized and executed by trumpeter Gary Gazaway (member of former Phish collaborators The Giant Country Horns), starts with a veritable orchestra on track 1 and glides to a guitar-and-vocals finish, covering a wide range of styles in between. Features Mike Gordon, Victor Wooten, Oteil Burbridge, and Col. Bruce Hampton. $10.00

Amfibian - "Amfibian Tales" CD - Phish lyricist Tom Marshall's first solo effort! Tom gets help from members of F-Hole, Rana, The Saras, and Phish. The album is a mellow, thoughtful, and politely demented collection of mostly acoustic songs, and features Tom's oddball lyrics as well as one new Anastasio/Marshall tune, "Nothing". $12.00

Jerry Garcia/David Grisman/Tony Rice - "The Pizza Tapes" CD - Legend has it that a pizza delivery person stole original tapes of Jerry Garcia's final recordings and began to circulate among fans. Numerous rumors circulated about how the tapes were acquired. Now, they are available on CD! David Grisman has remastered and released the "stolen sessions" on his Acoustic Disc label. Experience these amazing performances as they were meant to be! $15.00

Medeski, Martin, and Wood - "Tonic" CD - This amazing jazz trio returns with an album in stark contrast to the whirlwind explorations of their last release, "Combustication". This time the disc contains the best selections recorded live at Tonic in New York City over 4 days worth of acoustic piano trio shows. The disc features nearly all-new material and is the group's first ever live release. $16.00

Ponticello - "Dark Skies" CD - Experience the moody electric rock styling of this trio, which consists of violin, bass, and drums. They pull from various musical influences including classical, jazz, fusion, and straight-up rock to produce a varied, ethereal sound. $12.00

Jerry Joseph & The Jackmormons - "Goodlandia" and "Love and Happiness" CDs – Energetic rock and roll from this power trio will move you! Joseph is credited with writing "Climb to Safety", which Widespread Panic performs live from time to time. That should give you an idea of where he's coming from! "Love and Happiness" features Joseph's solo work, and "Goodlandia" features the trio (acoustic guitar, bass, and drums) live. $12.00

Groove Collective - "We the People" CD - Experience the fine jazz/funk/fusion that influenced many of today's established and new musicians. A never-ending groove and positive, uplifting vibe make this CD a constant joy to listen to. Don't bother sitting down, you won't be able to! $17.00

Maceo Parker - "Dial M-A-C-E-O" CD - The legendary saxophonist can still get funky! Maceo leaves no doubt as to why he played with the fathers of funk (James Brown and George Clinton) on this new CD, which features guest appearances by Ani DiFranco, James Taylor, and The Artist formerly known as Prince. $16.00

Ben Swift Band - "Chimpanzee" CD - This trio energizes with a percolating mix of rock, funk, and jazz that far outweighs the sum of its parts. Drums, guitar and vocals join a unique trombone player who also plays the bass lines on his horn! He's also known to stop the show with an amazing conch shell solo. This group leaves audiences shell shocked wherever they play - $12.00

ThaMuseMeant - "Sweet Things" and "Grow Your Own" CDs - New Mexico's finest! This four-piece performs eclectic, optimistic-yet-moody bluegrass-inspired music that will hypnotize the listener. Add a one-of-a-kind female vocalist to the mix, and the music becomes starry-eyed and enchanting. They employ all kinds of styles ranging from jazz and blues to folk and reggae to create their unique brand of mountain music. The new CD, "Grow Your Own", captures the band more focused and tight than "Sweet Things", which is a veritable road map of influences. Sweet Things - $14.00 GrowYour Own - $15.00

Various Artists - Welcome to High Sierra CD - This compilation features live, previously unreleased tracks from performances at the High Sierra Music Festival, which has become the premier West Coast music festival. Artists include String Cheese Incident, Galactic, Leftover Salmon, Loudon Wainwright III, The Radiators, and many more. $13.00

Back in stock: The Recipe – "Love-Marble Hoe-Down" CD – After a 5 month absence, the debut from these masters of the hillbilly jamboree is now back in stock! Features such concert staples as "Aurora Borealis", "Spill", and Out of the Rain". $12.00

Keller Williams fans, now hear this: There are no plans to produce more of Keller's first CD, "Freek". That means when they're gone, they're gone! So make sure you give us a call (1-800-6LEEWAY) and get this future classic in your collection before it's too late!

Home Grown Helpings:

My name is Chad Yost and I am the music director for WELY radio in Ely Minnesota. We are looking for groove and jam type oriented bands for our nighttime music format. We are a funky, eclectic community radio station located in a destination tourist town. We have a community college in town and receive lots of requests for jam bands like Phish, WSP, Galactic, moe., String Cheese Incident, Leftover Salmon, Strangefolk, Rusted Root, The Big Wu, Allman Brothers, Little Feat, Grateful Dead, Blues Traveler, and many others. As a result, most of our nighttime programming (7 PM to Midnight) is dedicated to the groove and jam band type sound. We report our playlists to NAV, Crossroads, and a great new publication dedicated to small and independent labels called CD revolutions ( www.contrabandpublications.com). We are also starting to work with Gavin and plan to report to CMJ as well. Because of our destination tourist town status, our town and radio station have a cult following and we plan to start streaming our signal on the Internet in a few weeks at www.wely.com.

We would love to play your music on our station. Please contact me at any time if you have any questions. Otherwise, please mail any promotional material to the address below.

Thanks for your time and consideration,

Chad Yost
