From The Editor

Where to begin? Well first off I suppose the most exciting site news (as opposed to personal news- don't get me started raving about my daughter) is that this month we'll be off at the jambands.com tour. I hope that many of you will be able to make it out for a number of the shows. We've put together some really chunky line-ups. It's been a long while since I've been able to go on the road for a run of shows (because of the swell Caroline Barrett Budnick) and I am very much looking forward to kicking back and taking it all in. Please stop by and say hi to any of us who are wandering around. Maybe we'll make an announcement from the stage- otherwise we'll be with ones with the permagrins (then again, we won't be the only ones...)

Beyond that I am sure you noticed that I stand here alone in the editor's chair this month. The fine Andy Gadiel just found himself too overburdened with too many fine projects to do so he has moved over to focus his energies on the tours database, which now exists independently as jambase.com. Andy of course is still with us- and not merely in spirit as he will write a section each month with info on jambase, and other Gadielian musings. Of course, we'll be linking directly to jambase from here so that you'll still be able to grab tour info. Which reminds me, don't forget to mail some kind words to our current webmaster team of Sarah Bruner and David Steinberg

I reckon that's it. I hope to see you seven times in June (and maybe I'll just introduce you to my dandy daughter...)

later days and peace,
Dean
