G. Love, Taj Mahal, Darol Anger and members of Spearhead Perform with String Cheese Incident

Multiple guest musicians have joined String Cheese Incident during the first two shows of its three night holiday run at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. Opener G Love added harmonica to ‘Jellyfish’ on Friday evening, while Spearhead’s Radioactive rapped later in the show. Radioactive’s bandmate Michael Franti took the stage the following evening for the ‘Black and White’ encore. Earlier, Taj Mahal and Darol Anger played on ‘Ballad of Stagger Lee’ and ‘Sitting on Top of the World,’ with Anger also contributing fiddle to ‘White Freightliner Blues’ and ‘Hold What You’ve Got.’ String Cheese Incident did not perform last night, in preparation for the evening’s ‘Superheroes Costume Ball’ at the Civic Auditorium with Keller Williams.
