Todd Pasternack and Marlow to Release New Album

Former Ominous Seapods guitarist Todd Pasternack will release a new album, titled White Out, with his band, Marlow. The albums roster consists of different incarnations of The Lo Faber Band, which includes Faber, Angela Ford, Dave Eggar, Devin Greenwood and Tom Pirozzi and Ted Marotta (also both formerly of The Seapods). The group will play two CD release parties: April 6 at Valentines, in Albany, NY and April 17 at The Elbow Room in New York City.

Steve Kimock Band to Headline First Annual Funkyard Music Fest

Plans are underway for the first annual Funkyard Music Fest. The event is scheduled for May 19 at The Green on the Hill in Signal, CA. Performers include The Steve Kimock Band, Robert Walters 20th Congress, Vinyl and DJ Haul. It will be an all day affair with doors at noon and music ending at 10 p.m. More acts will be added. Keller Williams to Collaborate with Tye North, Dave Watts

The Keller Williams Trio will perform three sets at this years High Sierra Music Festival. The line-up features Williams, Tye North (formerly of Leftover Salmon) on bass and Dave Watts (The Motet) on percussion. The trio also plans to enter the studio this spring.
High Sierra will be held July 5 8 at Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds in Quincy, CA. Other bands on the bill include Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, Karl Densons Tiny Universe, Steve Kimock Band, Spearhead, Sound Tribe Sector Nine, Yonder Mountain String Band and Mike Clarks Prescription Renewal, among others.
