Max Creek was joined by several special guests over the weekend at Camp Creek 2001, which was held in Mariaville, NY. Fridays show included an appearance by Derek Trucks, who joined the band for Louisiana Sun > Tangled up in Blue during the first set. Jeff Pevar added guitar in the second set to Love Makes You Lose Your Mind, Young Blood, Sympathy for the Devil (which featured Jiggle drummer Greg Vasso on vocals), China Cat Sunflower and ICU. Other guests included Greg Piccolo on saxophone and Ann Donahue and Sue Mazer on vocals.
Last night, Vasso returned and played drums on Windows during the first set. Jeff Mosier (banjo) and Mark Van Allen (pedal steel) sat in on Cruel World, Sadie. Cant Let Go and Something is Forming. Other guest musicians included Pevar (guitar), Glen Nelson (organ), Steve Desjardins (guitar) and Eamon Cronin (vocals).
