The Lo Faber Band was confirmed late yesterday afternoon to perform at last nights Jammin for Salmon benfit concert for Mark Vann at B.B. Kings in New York City. After playing a set of their own music, members of the Lo Faber Band collaborated with many of the musicians that were in attendance. Keyboardist Devin Greenwood took the stage with El Buho, Scott Murawski (Max Creek) and Mike Gordon (Phish). Bassist Tom Pirozzi then joined John Medeski (Medeski, Martin & Wood) and Fuzz (Deep Banana Blackout). Other performers included Eric Kalb (DBB), Aaron Johnson (Jazz is Dead, Commotion) and Floyd King as well as members of Railroad Earth, The Motet, The Blooming Daddies and the Josh Dodus Band (VH-1s Bands On The Run).
Proceeds from the show will benefit the Mark Vann Fund.
