Leftover Samlons Mark Vann, who was diagnosed with melanoma last year and is currently undergoing chemotherapy, returned to the stage with his band on New Years Eve at The Paramount in Denver, CO. Vann emerged during the first set for ‘Troubled Times’ and was greeted by a lengthy standing ovation. He then returned for Whispering Waters > Ask the Fish in the second set. He also sat in for the encore, Euphoria.
In a www.leftoversalmon.com posted on the Leftover Salmon website Mark said, My treatments are going about as well as can be expected. I’ve made it through 3 out of 4 of the planned sessions so far. After the fourth, I’ll be on maintenance doses for a year or so. It is my hope that during that time I’ll be able to rejoin the band, at least in some limited capacity. But we’ll just have to wait and see how I’ll be feeling and

take it one day at a time.
Leftover Salmon plays January 24 at Alpine Meadows Lodge in Tahoe City, CA. For the complete itinerary, visit www.leftoversalmon.com.
