Alien Lovestock will headline the next Musicians for Medical Marijuana Benefit, February 22 at the Ashkenaz in Berkeley, CA. The band features Eric McFadden on guitar(Parliament Funkadelic, Faraway Brothers), Anton Kozikowski on guitar (Woofy Brothers), bassist Charles Gasper (Shabaz, Downtown Apostles) and percussionist Paulo Baldi (Deadweight, Faraway Brothers). The opening act is the Faraway Brothers, which includes organist Chip Roland (Zero). Proceeds from the show will benefit public education efforts, medical cannabis research and financial assistance for patients and their caregivers facing legal challenges.
