Galactic has announced the final three shows of its Freestyle Tour. The band will play three Colorado dates, billed as Final Freeze, February 15 at the Fillmore in Denver (with The Roots), February 16 at the Fillmore (with Taj Mahal) and February 17 at Dobson Ice Arena in Vail (special guests TBA). Tickets go on sale Thursday through Galactic Ticketing .

Bluestring Signs with Flying Frog Records

Flying Frog Records has signed Bluestring. The labels CEO and founder is Allman Brothers drummer Butch Trucks. The roster includes bands such as Deep Banana Blackout, The Slip, Frogwings and Schleigho. Bluestring expects to release its Flying Frog debut this fall.

Ratdog to Mount European Summer Tour

Ratdog has announced that it will tour in Europe this summer. It will be guitarist Bob Weirs first time performing in Europe in nine years. The band plans to play several summer festivals overseas. Details will be released in the coming months.
The groups U.S. tour kicks off February 1 at Jannus Landing in St. Petersburg, FL and includes dates in Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina and South Carolina.
