Members of Lake Trout and Jerkwater Ruckus took the stage with Moon Boot Lover last night at Valentines in Albany, NY. Moon Boot Lover’s Peter Prince, who broke his left hand while jumping off the stage at a show in Virginia Beach over the weekend, was unable to play guitar, but did sing throughout the night.

Lake Trout tour manager Scott Forsyth (formerly of Grinch) played Fender Rhodes and Ed Harris (Lake Trout) and Ben Carle (Jerkwater Ruckus) both added guitar. The set list featured many Moon Boot staples, such as “Cryin,” “Train” and “Ali.” Lake Trout opened the show.

Moon Boot Lover has had to cancel a few March dates, but will reschedule and resume touring full-time in April. In the meantime, the band will perform some shows in the Northeast, with the possibility of special guests. The group plays Saturday at the Java House in Canton, NY.
