The Allman Brothers Band has released its summer tour itinerary. The tour begins with a run of multiple nights at theatres: two nights at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, CA (June 6-7), three nights at The Warfield in San Francisco, CA (June 10-12), three nights at The Fillmore in Denver, CO (June 14-16) and two nights at the Chicago Theatre in Chicago, IL (June 19-20). The itinerary also includes six dates with Phil Lesh & Friends in the Midwest and a string of tentative East Coast dates.
In other news, the band has announced the first release in an ongoing series, titled American University 12-13-70. The album will be available at live shows and through mail order. For more information, visit www.allmanbrothersband.com.

The group concluded its nine-night run at New Yorks Beacon Theatre Sunday night. During the encore, One Way Out, the band was joined by Robert Randolph (pedal steel guitar), Bobby Allende (percussion), Dick Griffin (trombone) and Seth Trucks (percussion).
