Several new acts have been confirmed to perform at the Berkshire Mountain Music Festival, which will be held August 9 11 at Butternut Basin Ski Area in Great Barrington, MA. Additions to the line-up include The New Deal, Addison Groove Project, Reid Genauer Band, Aaron Katz Band, Railroad Earth, Particle, Psychedelic Breakfast, Mountain of Venus, Moonraker, The Abyssinnians and Dean Bowman (of Screaming Headless Torsos).
Shockra will also play a reunion show at Berkfest. The band, which broke up in the spring of 1994, features Dave Watts (The Motet), Edwin Hurwitz (Skin), Felix Rentschler (Heavy Metal Horns, Another Planet), Dan Coutu (Ibrahima), Korel Tunador (Crisis Car), Jeff Grove, and Dave Dickenson.
