Billy Martins new album, Drop the Needle, features several special guests as well as various artists who submitted songs using drum tracks from Martins album, Illy B Eats: Groove, Band and Jive Around. The new CD includes John Medeski, Chris Wood, Miho Hatori, Jennifer Charles, Calvin Weston, Cyro Baptista, Sex With Robots, Spacefuzz, Rob Marscher, Monk-One, Stainless Steele and Bombay Sapphire.
Martin received over 60 submissions from musicians who wrote original material to Martin’s beats. The album is due in stores on July 2.
