Mountain of Venus and Psychedelic Breakfast combined forces to play an unplanned renegade set in the campground last night at the High Sierra Music Festival. We just decided to set up a sound system in the camping area spur of the moment, says MOV manager Aaron Cohen. At one point there were more than 500 people surrounding the bands. It was amazing. In addition to all of the members of both groups, special guests included guitarist Jake Cinninger and keyboardist Joel Cummins of Umphreys McGee, Rays Music Exchange guitarist Brad Myers, Living Daylights drummer Dale Fanning and Free Peoples guitarist Johnny Downer. The set list featured Lovelight, Feel Like a Stranger, and Roadhouse Blues. The musicians later dubbed themselves Psychedelic Venus Umphreys Exhange.
