Whos the Fat Guy? has announced that it will be parting ways next month. The band will play its final show on August 16 at Bills Bar in Boston, MA. I’m moving to Los Angeles, says lead vocalist and keyboardist Mark Ross. Living in Massachusettes any longer would almost definitely lead to my head exploding in the near future. In the interest of protecting the aforementioned head, I’m getting the hell out of here. Who’s the Fat Guy? is the only reason I’ve stayed this long. It’s been an amazing experience. I’d be lucky as hell to ever find another rhythm section that could hold a candle to Bradlee [Cumberbatch] and Kurtis [Shakemore]. I’m gonna miss this band, and our great fans. Life is short. I’m off to the left coast…
