Austin City Limits, the PBS live music program, has announced that it will host its first music festival this fall. The event will take place September 28 and 29 on six stages at Zilker Park in Austin, TX. More than sixty artists will perform, including String Cheese Incident, Karl Densons Tiny Universe, Particle, Rebirth Brass Band, Robert Randolph, Soulive, Sound Tribe Sector 9, The New Deal, Topaz, Wilco, Emmylou Harris, Gillian Welch, The Jayhawks, G-Love and Special Sauce, Shawn Colvin, Blind Boys of Alabama, Nickel Creek, Jimmie Vaughan, Pat Green, Ryan Adams, Patty Griffin and many more.
There are currently no plans to televise the event.
