Baby Charlie Trucks Sits in with Les Paul
Charlie Trucks, the near five-month old baby of Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, joined his parents on stage as they performed with Les Paul last night at the Iridium in New York City. Charlie sat on Les lap for a portion of the set, while Susan and Derek collaborated with the band. In his short life, Charlie has now caught over twenty shows, mostly by the Derek Trucks Band and the Allman Brothers Band.
In other news, Mike Mattison (Scrapomatic) will sing with DTB all this week, including Camp Creek Sunday. The release of the bands forthcoming album, Joyful Noise has been moved to September 3.
