Karl Densons Tiny Universe will release its new album, The Bridge August 20 on Relaxed Records. The disc features guest appearances by Michael Franti, Fred Wesley, Roy Hargrove, Hugh Ragin, Skerik, Chris Wood, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Robert Walter and Fareed Haque. To support the album, the group will tour nationally this fall. A CD release party will be held August 20 at Amoeba Records in Hollywood, CA.
The band is scheduled to perform with Widespread Panic at Fiddlers Green Amphitheatre in Denver, CO this Saturday. Due to the passing of Michael Houser, it is unclear if this show will still take place. An announcement is expected in the next day or so.
