Several musicians will perform a tribute to Jimi Hendrix September 7 in downtown San Diego, CA. The show, which is part of the Street Scene Music Festival, will feature the rhythm section from Jimi Hendrix Band of Gypsys, drummer Buddy Miles and bassist Billy Cox, as well as Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix Experience). Other performers include Slash (Guns N Roses) Les Claypool, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Cesar Rojas and David Hidalgo (Los Lobos) and Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton (Stevie Ray Vaughans Double Trouble).
