Trey Anastasios brief fall tour itinerary has been announced. The tour kicks off October 22 at Memorial Auditorium in Burlington, VT and includes stops at Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, ME on October 24, Utica Memorial Auditorium in Utica, NY on October 25, Stabler Athletic & Convocation Center in Bethlehem, PA on October 26, University Hall in Charlottesville, VA on October 28, The Louisville Palace in Louisville, KY on October 29, Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, NC on October 31, The Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA on November 1 and Pompano Beach Amphitheatre in Pompano Beach, FL on November 2.
Anastasio will be joined by the same 9-piece band that toured with him this past spring: bassist Tony Markellis, drummer Russ Lawton, keyboardist Ray
Paczkowsi, trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick, alto saxophonist Dave Grippo, saxophonist and flutist Peter Apfelbaum, trombonist Andy Moroz, tenor saxophonist Russell Remington and percussionist Cyro Baptista.
In other news, Treys self-titled debut album, originally released on April 30, will be re-released in DVD-Audio with Advanced Resolution 5.1 Surround Sound on October 1. The albums engineer, Toby Wright, re-mixed each track with a his own process, called Mixlab. Listeners will need a DVD-Audio or DVD Audio/Video player to fully hear the Advanced Resolution sound.
