Guitarist Warren Haynes sat in with Karl Densons Tiny Universe and RatDog over the weekend in New York City. Haynes joined Karl Friday at Irving Plaza for Spanish Castle Magic and Tenor Man. Govt Mule keyboardist Danny Louis along with saxophonist Topaz then emerged for Front Money.
On Saturday, Haynes headed to the Beacon, where he performed with RatDog for the majority of the second set, which included Cold Rain and Snow > Even So > Uncle Johns Band Warf Rat > One More Saturday Night and the encore, Brokedown Palace.
Haynes also collaborated with RatDog this past Wednesday at the 2002 Jammys presented by TDK Roseland Ballroom in New York during the dual stage jam. Govt Mule kicks off its fall tour this Wednesday at the Orpheum Theater in Boston. Incidentally, Karl Densons Tiny Universe is also in Boston that night, playing at The Paradise, which stays open a couple hours later than the Orpheum.
