The Derek Trucks Band will use abstract video project at three of its shows this week: Thursday at the State Theatre in Starkville, MS, Friday at the Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA and Saturday at the Visulite Theatre in Charlotte, NC. The band members have been submitting videos, pictures and DVDs to video operator Mason McKay, who has worked with artists such as The Dave Matthews Band and Tim Reynolds. McKay will add spontaneous visual imagery to the bands improvisations throughout each show.
