Guitarists John Keane and Davis Causey performed with Widespread Panic last night at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, SC. Keane took the stage in the first set for Pickin up the Pieces and Red Beans, which segued in and out of Shake, Rattle and Roll. He returned with Causey in the second set for Get in Get Out and both encores, Lets Get the Show on the Road and Aint Life Grand.
Keane has produced many Widespread Panic albums dating back to 1988s Space Wrangler. He has also worked with a range of artists including R.E.M., Indigo Girls and Kevn Kinney. Causey is an Athens, Georgia native who has recorded with everyone from Waylon Jennings to Gregg Allman to Randall Bramblett.
