King Crimson guitarist Adrian Belew performed with Les Claypools Frog Brigade last night at Newport Music Hall in Columbus, OH. Belew, who was donning red pajamas and a helmet with a rhino horn, emerged for King Crimsons Thela Hun Ginjeet, which the Frog Brigade covers regularly. Adrian remained for ‘Highball,’ ‘Holy Mackerel,’ ‘Calling Kyle and ‘D’s Diner.’ He then returned for the encore, a cover of The Beatles Taxman.
Belew will sit with Drums & Tuba tonight at 12th and Porter in Nashville, NT.
Les Claypools Frog Brigade plays tomorrow at the Majestic Theater in Detroit, MI. For more dates, visit www.lesclaypool.com.
