MVVP will make its first appearance outside of Louisiana this Thursday at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City. The quartet features drummer Stanton Moore and keyboardist Rich Vogel of Galactic, bassist George Porter Jr. (The Meters) and drummer Johnny Vidocovich (Astral Project). Special guests are also expected. Vidocovich was one of Moores earliest drum instructors and Stanton credits him as a major influence in his playing style.
