Schleigho has confirmed its initial winter itinerary. The band, which has taken a break from heavy touring over the last two years, is expected to play an increasing number of dates in 2003 and also plans to record an album. The group will perform two all ages shows at the Knitting Factory in New York City on December 13 and 14. The January itinerary also includes multiple stops in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia. More dates will be added soon.
Meanwhile, Schleigho keyboardist Jessie Gibbon will play a Tuesday night residency at the Knitting Factorys Tap Room in January. The project is called Lucid and also features former Schleigho bassist Matt Rubano and Birth saxophonist Josh Smith.
Schleigho plays Thursday at Savannahs in Albany, NY. For details, visit www.schleigho.com.
