The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has expanded to eight days. The legendary event will now kick off on the Thursday preceding the first weekend this year April 24, 2003 – and conclude the following Sunday – May 4, 2003. This is the first time since 1991 that the festival has added a complete day to its schedule. Its literally a new day at Jazz Fest! said Quint Davis, producer/director of the Festival. Now theres a natural balance to the Fair, with each weekend running Thursday through Sunday.’
Tickets for the 2003 Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival go on sale Friday, February 21. For complete details, visit www.nojazzfest.com.
