Drummer Stephen Roberson (Project Logic) will perform with Topaz this weekend. Roberson will take the stage with the group Friday and Saturday at The Boom Boom Room in San Francisco as well as on New Years Eve at the Paleo Sun Cafn Wilmington, NC. The groups line-up is rounded out by saxophonist Topaz, keyboardist Pablo Vergara, bassist Jason Kriveloff and guitarist Mark Tewarson. This Fridays show will commence around 1:45 a.m., following the Greyboy Allstars gig at the Fillmore.
Topaz plans to enter the studio in 2003 to record a new album, a follow-up to its Velour release, The Zone.
