Warren Haynes and Gregg Allman will take part in the Salute to the Blues’ concert, which will be held on February 7 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The impressive line-up of performers also includes B.B. King, Robert Cray, Bonnie Raitt, Lyle Lovett, Aaron Neville, Aerosmith, Macy Gray, Buddy Guy, Mos Def, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Keb’ Mo’, Dr. John, David Johansen, Vernon Reid, Shemekia Copeland, Mavis Staples and Public Enemy’s Chuck D. The concert will be filmed by director Antoine Fuqua (_Training Day_) and executive produced by Martin Scorsese (whose legendary body of work includes The Last Waltz). More details on the film will be released in the coming months. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Blues Music Foundation.
