The Derek Trucks Band welcomed multiple special guests to the stage Saturday at the Lions Den in New York City (following the Allman Brothers Band gig at the Beacon earlier in the night). Jason Crosby added violin to Kam-ma-lay towards the beginning of set and then returned for Cheesecake. Tenor saxophonist Jay Collins (Gregg Allman & Friends) then emerged for Leavin Trunk and saxophonist Topaz stepped in Everything is Everything. Finally, Trucks wife Susan Tedeschi, as well as Crosby, joined in for Gonna Move, which closed the set.

Beginning tonight, Crosby heads out on tour with Susan Tedeschi. The Derek Trucks Band plays two shows tonight at The Blue Note in New York City. For details, visit www.derektrucks.com.
