Superfly Presents has announced the initial line-up for this years Super Jam, which will take place during Jazz Fest, Friday May 2 at Twiropa Mills in New Orleans. The musicians will be paying tribute to artists such as James Brown, Stevie Wonder and Curtis Mayfield, among others. The band will feature Soulives Eric Krasno, Neal Evans and Alan Evans, Ivan Neville, trobonist Fred Wesley (James Brown), saxophonist Sam Kininger (Lettuce), and percussionist Bill Summers (headhunters). Several special guests will also perform. Tickets are on sale today.
