Guitarist Warren Haynes took the stage with Trey Anastasio last night at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Haynes, playing Anastasios spare Languedoc guitar, sat in on Sand to close the second set. The lengthy jam started slowly, meandering through funk and blues textures, and culminated with a high-energy dueling solo.
Trey and his band play tonight at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. The full schedule is available at www.treyanastasio.com.
