Dave Matthews took the stage with moe. Saturday at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Matthews joined the band at the end of its opening set for The Weight. The other night I asked [Dave] if he would come and sing a song with us, said moe. guitarist Al Schnier last night on the Jam Nation radio program. So I asked him what song he wanted to do. I told him wed doing anything he knew and he said I suck, I dont know anything laughs. So I said, Okay, well you are Dave Matthews, you could probably get away with just scat singing over just about anything. So we tossed around a few ideas and The Weight was sort of a no-brainer.
moe. plays next on June 29 at Vernon Downs Raceway in Vernon, NY, opening for The Dead. The bands complete summer schedule is available at www.moe.org.
