Llama Breaks Up

Llama has decided to party ways in order to pursue new creative paths. The band has posted the following statement on its official website:

This decision was made between the five of us, no outside lobbying or external problems. Llama was created by musicians with the same creative goals, and the same musical drive. As often happens, as things progress, dynamics of the above evolve. Then you can either force change and live with the consequences, or embrace reality and create your own destiny. In Llama because we all value our friendship and musical collaboration we are choosing to create our own destiny. For us the reality is that we all have musical directions [in which] we must go, and friendships we don’t want to lose. Llama was not progressing in our current state, individually or as a band and so rather then gambling on the consequences, Llama is saying, We are young, we have learned a lot, we have had a lot of fun, and musically we all still have so much more to offer. So let’s let Llama live as it has and all move on. I don’t know what the future holds for each of us, but at least now it holds what we will create next.
