The Mimi Fishman Foundation in conjunction with String Cheese Incident’s ‘Gouda Causes’ philanthropic and community outreach program has launched an online auction to raise funds for Aron Ralston’s medical expenses. Ralston is the mountain climber that was pinned under a boulder for five days and lived to tell about it. The auction contains over 25 items, including a Burton snowboard, an autographed Dave Matthews CD, a signed Stanley Mouse poster and a Leatherman. String Cheese is also honoring Ralston with its July 5th show at Paolo Soleri Amphitheatre in Santa Fe, where an additional silent auction be held. The online auction closes July 14. All proceeds will be donated to the Aron Ralston Fund.
