Mike Gordon and Carlos Washington performed with The Slip late last night at Studio Z in San Francisco. Washington added trumpet to ‘Get Me with Fuji’ midway through the show. Later, both Gordon and The Slip’s Marc Friedman played bass during the Rolling Stones’ ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash.’ It was Mike’s second Stones cover of the evening, as Phish encored with ‘Loving Cup’ at Shoreline Amphitheatre a few hours earlier.
In other news, The Slip has announced that it will perform at The Paradise Rock Club in Boston on Halloween night.
The trio plays Wednesday at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. For more dates, visit www.theslip.com.
