Bob Dylan and moe.s Al Schnier and Vinnie Amico sat in with The Dead Saturday night at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL. Dylan stepped in during the first set for Goin Down the Road Feelin Bad, Senor and Around and Around. Schnier added guitar to Cryptical Envelopment, The Other One, and Dark Star as well as the Not Fade Away encore. Amico joined in for Drumz/Space.
moe. was originally scheduled to open the show, but its set was canceled due to a wind storm the day before that caused the back of the stage to collapse (the entire concert was nearly canceled).
Dylan also performed with The Dead last night at The Float Rite Amphitheater in Sommerset, WI. Dylan appeared for Big River, Desolation Row, and Johnny B. Goode.
The Dead plays tomorrow at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Indianapolis, IN. For the full schedule, visit www.dead.net.
