Melvin Sparks and Adam Levy took the stage with Will Bernard & Motherbug Friday night at the Boom Boom Room in San Francisco. Sparks added guitar to The Meters Look-Ka Py Py and Kool and the Gangs Let The Music Take Your Mind, during which Levy replaced Bernard on guitar. He then returned for a guitar duel with Levy on Motherbug originals Close Shave and Pursuit of Happiness.
