Keller Williams took the stage with The Disco Biscuits last night at Tussey Mountain Ski Area in Boalsburg, PA. Keller joined in for Led Zeppelins Whole Lotta Love in the first set. The Biscuits, who rarely welcome special guests, have collaborated with Williams in the past. Weve had Keller on stage before, says guitarist Jon Gutwillig. Hes always really enthusiastic about playing with us. Hes really a jack of all trades and can do nine million different things. He sang the song and then he soloed in the jam. We played it a little faster. We Disco Biscuit-ed it out. It was a little more dancy and a little less fist-pumping then the Zeppelin version.
The Disco Biscuits return to Tussey Mountain tonight. The band plans to tour in the fall and while nothing has been confirmed, initial plans include Boston around Thanksgiving and a New Years run in the Northeast.
